Slow Aging with Alkaline Water

All of us get old because, for the most part, we aren’t finding a way to eliminate all the internally-generated wastes, toxins and accumulating acidic leftovers inside of our body.

For our body to perform and to maintain its optimal body temperature, we burn nutrients in our cells. The three prime ingredients of all foods–expensive or reasonable, connoisseur or junk, vegetable or meat, alkaline or acid–are all carbohydrates, proteins or fats. And they’re nothing but the infusion of four elements: namely, carbon, nitrogen, hydrogen and oxygen.

After these nutrients are burnt (oxidized) inside the cells, they all convert into organic acids. Fats are acidic even before oxidation. These acidic wastes and toxins are disposed of out through the body in liquid form as urine or perspiration, when it’s dissolved into the blood. Every essential element within our body was placed there by the blood, is dissolved into the blood, and then disposed of. If anyone loses 10 pounds by any dietary means, it can also be said, believe it or not, that the majority of that ten pound loss came out through urination.

Unfortunately, given modern day lifestyles, environmental conditions and various factors like eating an excessive amount of processed foods, overwork, over indulgence, not enough rest, staying up late, not enough exercise, inadequate water consumption, smoking, pollution, low alkaline diet and so forth, the body cannot lose all the acidic waste residues that build up or that is generated. These left over waste materials accumulate daily and are stored in fat cells. This is why individuals age, as cells deteriorate and establish moldy toxins and wastes inside the body.

We tend to feel a sleepiness and become sluggish and listless after a massive meal when the digested food is moving out of the stomach; (not while eating the meal or while the food is being digested inside the stomach). That is the time when hydrochloric acid goes into our blood. Hydrochloric acid is the primary ingredient in antihistamines and that’s what causes drowsiness.

To achieve a balanced pH, any alkaline or acid element created by the body must have an equal and opposite acid or alkaline produced so there’s no net gain. However, alkalinity ingested from outside the body, like drinking alkaline water or eating alkaline foods, leads to a notable gain of alkalinity in our body and better health.
